We started with four plates and a stubborn question

In 2016, our founder broke the last plate of a set her grandmother had used for thirty years. The replacement she bought chipped within four months. That gap — between things made to be kept and things made to be replaced — is the entire reason Hearthline Decor exists.

We began with a single stoneware dinner set, produced with a family pottery in northern Portugal that had been firing the same clay body for three generations. It sold out in eleven days. Nine years later, we work with fourteen workshops across Portugal, Lithuania, Türkiye, Peru, India, and the United States, and we still visit every one of them.

We are deliberately small in catalog and deliberately slow in development. Each product takes nine to eighteen months from first sample to launch. It gets used in our own homes for at least six months first — washed, dropped, stacked, and put through a real week. If it doesn't hold up, it doesn't ship.

Today Hearthline Decor serves more than 42,000 households across all fifty states from our fulfillment center outside Allentown, Pennsylvania, with a support team based in Brooklyn who answer the phone themselves.
